On this half theory, half practical 1-Day Workshop, the Candidate will be taught the following:

Current medical guidelines in relation to the benefits of and contraindications to exercise prescription during the Post Natal period. |

The effect of Pregnancy into the Post Natal period including, changes to Posture, Core/Lumbopelvic Stability and Pelvic Floor Musculature (PFM) and how these changes affect exercise choices and prescription when using the Power Plate®. |

HOW TO ASSESS THE CORE STRENGTH OF THE POST NATAL CLIENT using The Burrell Method© - 6 Vital Tests for Core Strength - Testing For: Sensation, Rectus Doming, Rectus Diastasis, Anterior vs Posterior PFM Activation, TVA Activation, Lumbar Multifidus Activation and learn how to interpret test results to create a bespoke Core Restore client programme using the Power Plate®. |

How to create a safe and effective, progressive strength training programme suitable to the needs of a Post Natal client employing the concept of the Power Plate® Acceleration Training Pyramid. |

Candidates will work from and take home a fully illustrated and referenced 100 page Manual which includes a specially designed Post Natal Health & Lifestyle Questionnaire, ready for use with PN clients, and modern guidance on teaching Pelvic Floor strength exercises on and off the Power Plate®. |

The manual also includes photographs of suitable exercise choices (and their progressions) according to the Post Natal clients' degree of core strength - invaluable for creating safe and effective programmes. |

The PRE-REQUISITE FOR ATTENDING THIS WORKSHOP IS THAT CANDIDATES WILL HAVE COMPLETED Power Plate® CORE FUNDAMENTALS LEVEL 1. |

To gain certification, candidates will be required to complete and pass (75‰) a multiple choice exam within two weeks of completing the Workshop. |
